Can anyone help me?? I am looking for a new shifter **** for my 1998 Camaro with Automatic transmission. The problem that I am coming across is that all the automatic shifter ***** that I find screw on, where my current **** is attached by a staple or C-clip (for lack of a better word) that pushes through the base of the **** and clamps to the shaft. I wouldn't mind dressing up my shifter **** so I have been looking at **** companies like MOMO. Cany anyone tell me where to go to find ***** that will be compatible with my car?

 

I would imagine if you find one with set srews, you could set it on to the shaft and still work. You might have to experiment alittle on this and keep the OEM stuff just in case.
