Default need help fast

so i was going on a trip about 3 hours from my house in my 99 v6 camaro. the only code its ever thrown is the po420 which im pretty sure cause theres no cat. but about a hour and a half into the trip my check engine light started blinking. i pluged my hand held comuter up to it and it said cylinder 3 misfire running a lil bad. so i was going to stop at a parts store thinking it would be a spark plug or wire or coil. as i kept driving it got worse felt like i was on 5 cylinders. i changed the coil and the plug for the cylinder. but did nothing. i havnt changed the wire but the wire looks fine and they were new when i got the car. i managed to drive it home but if u go under 10 mph it will cut off. i had to put it in nutral and rev it up at red lights to make it home yea imagine that on a hour and a half trip. any clues?

need to pull it and have it cleaned and flow tested. pick up a injector noid light and make sure its being told to fire. what did the plug from that cylinder look like?

or, swap with one from another cylinder. That only shows if the problem follows the injector but process of elimination is a good thing

Swapping them out does sound like a good idea. I'll try that and see what it does.

sorry it took me so long to get back on i work alot. this sunday i went to pull a aparts and got to injectors off a 3800 series 2 motor. and it didnt fix it. i got a video of how its running and the only codes its throwing is p0420 and a cylinder 3 missfire. maybe something in the motor is screwed. bent rod or rocker arm? the oil pressure is really high too.

Compression test might be in order. How is the coolant level?

We have seen a few exhaust valve springs break. The will cause the engine to run terrible and is normally a all or nothing, meaning the car goes from running fine to running like crap instantly.
