Default Need help in CAI purchasing (I have a few questions).

*NOTE: these aren't the exact model one's im going to buy, i'm just using them as an example.

What's the difference between a CAI kit this large or one this large (also, there is annoying music on each page, so mute before you click):

OR

See I just bought a '95 3.4L and don't know much about cars yet, but i'm trying to learn. Just to describe it in my POV, it seems as if the first one is only "half" a full intake system (for $16) and then the second product is an entire full CAI (for $50). What is the difference exactly between the two, like power wise, performance wise...?

get the one in the 2nd link and buy another intake piece and put that through the hole in the engine bay so you can get air outside the engine bay. I have the one in the second link on my z28. I took out my moroso and put that in.

That second one looks like it goes out of the engine bay, if you look at the little picture in the upper right corner of the big picture.
