Default Need Diagram for Spark Plug Replacement

Hey guys,

Does anybody have or know where I can get a diagram showing the location of the spark plugs on a '96 3.8l engine? I could just explore around the engine and locate them myself but it would be easier with a diagram before replacing the plugs.

Thanks

You can download the GM manual from the Manual section.

This is a pick of the 2002 3800 the plug placement is the same but the 96 manifold kind of hides the plugs

This shows my engine with the original 96 manifold you can just make out the boot sticking out from under the exhaust manifold.

All 3800 S2 motors are the same, just what is bolted in the way changes

there in a place thats not easy to get to,,, gorn really showed some good stuff so you can see where there at. lol a little easier than the v8 but not so much. best to use a rachet with a swival head. some of mine on the v8 i have to get from under car and now that ive got headers one of them i get to use a wrench on a spark plug socket. very expensive to have a shop do it so your savin some bucks, keep that in mind the 4th hour into it.

Craby tell me about it man!? Back home I had a "home mechanic" do a tune up for $60 bucks. Now I live in San Antonio and as a college guy I can't afford a $500 tune up! I'll do it myself thank you lol
