Look on the door for the RPO WU8. I am going to say it is not a true SS but some one put a wing and hood on it from an SS. Every SS I have ever came across had leather interior and T-tops. I am going to say this is a plane jane Z28 nothing more.

it's fair to me. I can de-fog them.

 

my brother in laws ss had cloth interior.

 

OH and those rims are just Firebird rims that have been painted. Not aftermarket rims so dont let them tell you they are.

what are common problems I should look for? is there anything that is notorious for going out, or leaking?

 

I agree about the t-tops but my SS cloth.

 

my 98 is a factory ss with cloth and i look at a 01 factory ss with cloth. my 98 has very few extra options over the std ss stuff.

how did you look that up? and how would I find out if it's public or not?

 

All SS cars have the same vin as the Z28s. So this may not be a true indicator of Z or SS status.

I didnt know that the SS models came with cloth interior that is good to know since i dont like leather all that much. What about the T-tops? I have yet to see a true SS without T's... That being said I have yet to see a true SS with cloth in my area either but that does not mean they dont exist.
