How will they hold up with the system though? Why go and spend almost a grand for shocks and struts when the weight of the stereo in the back is going to deteriorate the **** out of them?

To answer your question about tires, I am running 275/40's up front and 285/40's out back. The tires out back are coming off as they are super bald, so I will most likely go back to the stock 275/40's. The car Summitomos up front, so im going to match them out back

LOL, seriously?! How much weight could you possibly have in a stereo?
Koni's are adjustable, so you dial-in what you need. Plus lifetime warranty. Strano had a set of four Koni SAs on sale for $850 shipped -- not a bad price for Konis.

Cool. I was just curious since I see many people running a little wider tire out back than in front. When I bought my last set of tires, I went 275s all the way around. I'm considering buying lowering springs but was concerned about the 275s up front rubbing.

Hi mate, nice car. That bodywork is KILLER, what a find. How many miles? Car might go good, but a nice set of pipes, a decent air intake, and a nice tune would have her making crisper power and even better fuel economy!!!
Keep that in mind, i will be keeping an eye on the build. BTW the hurst gear leaver and what we call them the rip shifter here looks nice.
However just a personal thing, over here the fashion, is the cut the gear leaver down in height for a even tougher, cleaner look, my two cents.
Thanks mate cheers ben.

Well the Owners Manual states "Don’t carry more than 100 lbs. (45 kg) in your rear area."
You should also check out the Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) on the Certification label, and see the Tire-Loading Information label (both on rear edge of the driver’s door).

I'd say the setup weighs in around 65-75 lbs.
