Hay for wheeles you should check out the stock camaro wheeles like this
only get em chrome, then have the insides painted black n leave the outer lip of the wheel chrome, this is what the dude who had his wheels keyed did, but it looked really tight you should try to get em black in paint and see how you like em

17's will be good. Looks like you settled for something a little different eh? I personally like the C5Z06 wheels better. Especially black with the polished lip. That's actually what I'm looking for, for my Camaro.

I got them for 400 bucks shipped. Couldn't pass that deal up. I will be putting C6 Z06 wheels (18's and 19's) on my 68 truck though. I like the C06 wheels the best, but not in a 17 and i just bought new tires, so im sticking with 17's on the Cami

C5Z wheels look great on the Camaros. They really hold their proportions well with the smaller sizes like 17s. C6Z wheels almost need to be 18s to look right. And the new ZR1 replica wheels look funny in anything smaller than factory sizes. It'll be nice to see your car when the wheels are on.

new tires will fit both the factory ss (17x9) and the c5 Z06 (17x9.5) will both fit the new tires. CME is here, all new emblems are here, car goes to the paint shop Monday afternoon, new tail lights are here, and new black zinc coated cross drilled and slotted rotors are on their way. Custom Veteran's plate should be in sometime in the very near future. MYO1SS
Dont worry, I will post plenty of pics through out the build, and for those who think I am ruining a rare care by removing all the stock parts, you are wrong. Every part that came factory on this car that I have removed is in my garage. I am even buying a factory radio and factory speakers.

as far as the wheels you guys were talking about, 18's would be the ONLY size i would go with C06 wheels, c05 wheels look just fine in 17's, and ZR1 (corvette Zr1, not Camaro) look bad on everything IMO.
Wow, that does kinda look like a mess, but I bet it will be gorgeous when it's all done. How much is that going to cost in the end? I know you said insurance cut you a check for like $3k, is that all being used for the paint?
