Must be nice to have a safe stretch to cruise 80!

Wish my car had less frills, more manual stuff also. Esp loose the power windows!

Haha, I64 west of Louisville, KY is pretty barren. Burned nearly an entire tank at that pace. It was hot as the Devil's ******* that day too. (Hence the A/C.) AC switch on MAX (recirc the air, Compressor doesn't cycle as often, better MPG) and fan switch on 2.

It was a really nice run. Probably the only stretch of road close to me that I feel even remotely safe maintaining 80 MPH in a bright red Camaro

And I got passed a few times to boot.

I have a 97 LT1 6speed and highway i can get 17-19 routinely, if i drive like my dead grandparents. Realistically i see about 13-15 on the highway the way i drive and same in the city driving carefully. Just remember, the best defense is a good offense, just dont EVER say that when you get pulled over for wreckless driving[&:].
