Default Month from Hell...

Okay so before I start, apparently I'm very emotionally attached to my car...

Here's what happened:

For a few weeks, my car was making a sound like something was caught in a fan. It only did it for a few seconds when first turning on the car... I went to go to work one day and it didn't stop like usual. It stayed on constantly, I had it towed to the garage. Turns out, it was a seized lifter. $2,100 later and I had my Camaro back... Two days later I was driving out to the barn and I got there just fine. Went to leave turned on the car and *clunk* *knock* *knock*(and so on...) spun a rod-bearing... I had sunk $2,100 into two days before so I was already too far in to junk it and find a new car. So another $4,100 later and I had a reman motor and my car back... Mind you the car was paid off 2 weeks before this happened. The car only has 64k miles on it, turns out the last people that owned the car never did any routine maintenance. -_-

At least I have my car back! :/

Yeah, sadly. Just when I was getting into finally working on her. I was planning on getting a Extreme Dimensions Fiberglass Cowl Hood, but so much for that :/

I understand the close relationship between a man and his ride, coming from a guy who drives his Z28 for a living.

Thats pretty shilly luck.

Hopefully you'll get many many years of trouble free service out of it now.

I could of had it back on the road for no more than 500 smackers though, lol.

that sucks man, i had a couple months of bad luck a while ago myself, though no where near as expensive. I had a homerun leave the park and break my windshield, $250 to replace. I then had some ice that scratched a good section of my hood that i had just had painted 5 months prior. I then had the back window of the convertible top fall out and had to replace the entire top for $1100. I know the feeling man, but our luck is gonna change dont worry! Plus my old top was tan and had some holes and fade on it, now i got a new sexy black top, even if its not in the manner i would have prefered.

Thanks guys its all good, just sort of an update on my lack of presence here. Along with school its making it hard to do anything car related. This also really set my plans back a LOT. :/ Luckily most of the stuff I would like to do isn't too terribly expensive.
