Make sure the relays you put in are good. I had the same problem with my fans, so I went and bought a new relay. Still didn't work. Turns out the brand new relay was bad. When I put the new replacement relay in, it worked fine. I also put the SLP fan control kit on mine. Pricey, but I like the clean easy install and it works great. Now no more slowly heating up in stop and go traffic in this hot NC summer.

Ok. I wired a manual fan switch. Before i mounted the switch I made sure everything worked. It did. Then after I mounted switch in position it doesn't work now. Could the switch have gone bad? I used a on/off/on switch. Ran a wire to the acc in fuse box to switch. Ran wire for highs and wire for lows. Any ideas??

Sounds like you need to run the fans directly off the battery with an inline fuse between the battery and switch ( hot side ). Use #10 ga wire and connectors with the fuse close to the battery. One set for each fan. 30 amp fuses, the acc is not big enough.

I ran directly to the battery but still nothing. Could the switch have gone bad? I don't know what else to try. I had them working till I mounted switch in position.

recheck the fans to make sure they work. check grounds to fans and check hot wire for juice at the fan.

Checked wires at switch. Hot has power. Each wire to the fans has power. I took test light and stuck point in one of the wires from switch and fans came on. Once you remove tester fans shut off. I had it grounded to battery -. I am totally puzzled.

Sounds like either you have a broken wire or a bad connection where the wire attaches to the switch.

I disconnected wire from +. Ran to a ground and fans work with switch now. Guess wires already had power so it just needed to be grounded.
