I'm thinking about maybe buying a stall converter. I'm thinking of a stall around 3000. How much of a difference would I notice in acceleration and 1/4 mile time? I'm not sure what it runs in the 1/4 yet but we'll say it runs a high 13. Would it be worth the money?
My mods are 3.23s, shift kit, exhaust, and ported and polished heads.

you will want to look into a few upgrades liike a stronger sungear and servo. this site has some good info. http://www.transmissioncenter.net/4l60e.htm unless you have more upgrades than listed im not so sure a stall is gona help much. your problem is going to be traction off the line.

I'm just wanting the cheapest mods that will make the most difference.
I read somewhere that somebody put around a 3000 stall in and took off like 1/2 a second off their 1/4 mile time.
