Stock LT1 from setting up 2yrs to replacing everything on the engine plus rebuild to stock at Grooms in Tenn. 4,000. It has plenty of power for me, passed someone on a back road last week at night, got into it a little, over 100mph fast, got my attention Quickly. Like the guys said above me, Stock with a few mods is pretty Good for most of us. However Torque is Good ! and i'm guessing the 383 Stroker has consierable more the a stock LT1 350. Could be alot of fun if you have the $$

I dont NEED it to be a Stroker. I just want my SS to be faster is all. I don't know jack about cars yet. I'm learning a little now and then but as far as good ideas to making it perform better I'm in the dark still. Any ideas that would be a better alternative then jumping right to the 383 Stroker?

is it pretty much stock right now?

not trying to be a jerk, but you need to read the sticky on the top of this section...i believe its called "where to start modding 4th gens". get all the bolt-ons done and then we can start talking REAL power

It has aluminum valve covers, K&N, Hotcam, dual flowmasters, HD torque converter, stage 3 shift kit, corvette piston for the clutch, high performance suspension and breaks and ram air of course.
