Potentially, although most OBDI and OBDII have the same engine trouble codes, OBDII just has more emission codes and most of them are standardized, but I believe they detect the same issues with the actual engine. I don't know the ins and outs of the '92 PCM (not like I know most of the specific ins and outs of my own...I should probably look into that).
