Default lsx swap

would it be easier to swap a ls2 into a lt1 or ls1 camaro. I found a reasonable ls2 block.

that's a pretty obvious question. LSx engine is pretty much the same as an LS1 engine so you don't have to change much to swap it over like you would with swapping out the LT1

Well I have a "special edition" lt1 car and for whatever reason I don't wanna change the setup so I was offerd 15 grand the other day and I just can't make up my mind if I wanna keep it and swap motors later or just sell it buy a decent ls1 car and make it a ls2.

Its a 93 morrison motorsports edition z28 stg 3 with the 383 stroker pushin 432hp. I just don't wanna deal with the lt1 and the fact no one wants to work on them anymore. See the suspion is completly done and it has a lingenfelter rearend. 6spd of course with 373s. Ttop car very nice. But I know the ls1 is a far superior motor but I wanted to do something alittle more and go ls2. Should I just say screw it debadge the morrison and rip out motor and do what I want or sell it to someone who wants it cuss its limited edition. (Special edition or whatever lol)

from what i've read about morrison motorsports, it will not make the car worth more money. not like hennessey or something else would. morrison appears to be just a high performance shop that builds a few cars, much like Speed Inc is to the LS1 crowd. that being said, if someone offered y ou 15 grand for it then you should probably take it if you're really into the LS models. 15 grand is a nice starting spot to get a nice LS equipped car and still have some mod money left. take that for what you will as its only my opinion

I see ur point and ur probably right. Iv also just been consedering debadging and doing a opti delete. Got any suggestions on a sc or tc setup for a built 383 stroker? Like I said before. 432 hp is nice but I want atleast 500hp. For just a street car don't really have time for track even tho I do plan on taking it down to baytown to check my quarter time.
