Default LS7 swap

so i have a 95 z28 and was wondering if an ls7 swap would be a reasonable upgrade or would it be a better idea to bore and stroke out my LT1 to a 383...also would it be best to do a tranny swap at the same time....by the way how much would a swap like this cost im interested in doing this as a winter project

the LS7 swap sounds like an excellent idea especially for anyone who has no concept of costs and time.

here is question #1 which only you can answer honestly: How much money do you really have to do anything on the vehicle?

Even if you did have the cash for a pricey engine like the LS7, why not build a big block?

Because a ls7 will go into the car much easier than a bbc. OP, if you have the money, do it. My friend has an t/a with a Texas speed ls7 and that thing makes some serious power. Be prepared to dump money into the car for a built rear, suspension, built trans, and the conversion to an ls1 harness/dash etc.

I left the 2 most salient points from Socom and suggest the OP re-read them a few times

oh, you aren't talking 4 figures either. You are in the 5-figure zone and cents aren't included
