Default ls1 borla exhausr on 3.8

So i know you can use the stock z28 exhaust but i wondering if i could install a borla ls1 exhaust with qtp electric cutout on a 1996 camaro. The reason i ask is i can get one for $500. What would i need to install of modify. The exhaust is 3"

It should fit in the same place if it is over the axle which it should be. You may need an adapter if you dont have a 3" exhaust from your headers/cat.

OK so i just picked up a FULL cat back from a dismantler off a 2002 WS6. It is a borla and they even gave me the y pipe. It cost me $81 out the door They even loaded it on my truck. I know now that need new hangers so i was wondering if anybody had part numbers. I want to have everything ready before i install.
Also if somebody needs a free y pipe come pick it up in sac.

Cool thanks. These come stock on z28? I'm gonna go a wreck yard and pull one.
