Also possible the 15 year old springs were tired, so the car already sat lower due to spring sag.

does it drive better, stiffer?? are you sure it wasn't lowered before. I'd say 300 aint bad for new springs and struts, heck mine cost about 800

^^^ yep,,, measure between the ground and the upper most part of the fender lip just above the tire. it may be the car has already been lowered. if you have a photobucket you can copy the img code to your post and the picture will show.

the struts and springs were replaced in 02 with kybs and oem springs and only about 10k has been put on the car since, it was at stock hight and still is(grrrrr). i was masuring from the top lip on my rims, because i knew that wouldent change, to the top most point on my fender lips, didnt change a cm. im going to put the backs ones on and see if those lower and if they do, may have to resort to cutting the front(hate to tho).
any other suggestion, comments and even warnings are welcome. and i will tri to get a pic up its the old spring and strut next to the new ones (diasembled) thanks

the fender lips should be the same hight on all four, the passenger side will be a little lower. i would call or contact the place i got them before any hotwrenching. it may be somehow you got the wrong part.
