Lowering 1998 z28 camaro

I want to lower my 1998 z28 camaro, any suggestions? I want it to still be drivable and not bottom out every time I hit a bump... Is 1.6inches too low?

i would not go more that 1.2 unless your running a tall tire. over the long run its going to sag so will drop a tad the first year and more over time.
