Well, if the previous owner never changed it, and it's at 140k -- it is high time for a change. Note that the method I mentioned will not get all the fluid, but certainly a lot...

No problem and my guess is that it has not been changed admittedly I never change steering fluid. But I do replace pumps lol.

^ A lot cheaper to try first before a pump...
