Lots of V6's
I've been looking for a unmolested 4th gen for about a month. I've found a lot of V6's in various conditions, now V8's are harder to find around Atlanta. Maybe I'm not looking in the right places who knows<--not sure what the rabbit with the pan cake on his head is doing...... Just thought I'd put that out there

wait till about mid summer though you live in a fairly tropical state when it gets cold is when you want to shop ,up hear in NH mid.summer to late fall winter the prices go way down,,so you may need to wait to winter there for the deals ,around hear where I live there hard to find to ,newyork is not that far ,when I got mine I had to traval 250 miles both ways ,so yes make a whole day of it ,though for the right car I would traval 2.days ,just make sure you got a desent seller that knows what you doing to get the car ,though I had a time I went 900 miles in 18 hours too so sometimes you need to traval to find that gem

Depends on the year you're looking at too. From 93-99, the V6 models outsold the Z28 anywhere between a 2:1 to 3:1 ratio. The gap started closing in 2000, but 2002 was the only year where the Z28 outsold the V6, likely because of Camaro fans knowing it was the last year. Sheer numbers, you're seeing more V6 models over Z28's because there's a ton more out there.

yes there seems to be a lot more v6 cars out there the gas milage thing though to me the ls1 or lt1 get great milage when compared to my 406 any of them ,may stock ss or another z28 be in my life well mabey ,but I hope not for a few years ,other then I may get rid of my 99 3800 for a stock ss will see ,it can be full time job ,for me when I am not looking for real is when I find some of the best deals on these cars
