Hell, a complete 3.8 costs at least $400, so I would expect the LT1 to be more.
a remanufactured 3.8 costs ~2800 after core charge.. just block and internals. looked into it already. thats before my mom's discount too tho [8D] 40% discount FTW.

that car being crashed, you could prolly get it for 800. i've seen alot of crashed LT's on craigslist in ym area go for around that. and they arent even as bad as that. they were salvagable. maybe like 500, if he doesnt know what he's sitting on, engine wise.
I was talking about a USED engine, just like Spartan. Not a reman engine...

yea i know. engines arent cheap new or used.. but most used engines are around the same price, regardless of what they are. or so i've seen. i've heard of people picking up alot of engines for 500 or so. spartan, just call and ask. it's not gonna hurt.. even if he wants 800 or whatever for it. buy the whole car and part out the rest. seats, rims, etc.

there were alot good parts in that car, if you come across another i would offer like 600 - 800 if you have to pull it your self, but these guys are correct even an lt1 with over 120k miles will sell for 1500 +

damn... i figured a used 383 or modded LT1 would go for that much.. I mean i can find used heads for 150 and an internal kit for a couple hundred and the block for maybe 300.. i didnt think it would be more than 7-800..
