I do, are you looking for the tall spoiler or the lower one. If you go onto craigslist and go to the Boston area then to autoparts, just type in Camaro. There is a guy with a black on for sale, he has not listed a price, he just wants an offer.

As to your question, those are my plans, but unfortunatly, those hoods arent easy to find and if you do, plan to shell out the $$$$$$$$$$$$.Who cares what anybody thinks.

chappie im lookin for the tall spoiler. you know the SS one with the two pillars in the middle. My hood has a dent in it from my mom backing into it 2 weeks after i got the car. Im goin to this body shop thats really good, and im gonna tell him to order all of the stuff i need. itll be easier that way. if i did get a black one i could get it repainted right?

You can get anything repainted except for water. I would order the parts yourself. Check on EBAY. If you have the body shop get them, they are gonna pork you on the price. Year1 has them, A real GM SS hood is $1700.00 You can get cheaper ones on Ebay. But beware of cheep fiberglass ones that need to be shaved to fit right. If you wanna spend a little less money, AutoZone has a fake scoop that is the Camaro SS style for sale in their special order parts book. Its part#984256 its a 3M adhesive tape stick on job. They dont have a price, but call with that part # and they can get you a price. Make sure if you have your stuff painted, it matches your existing color.

I would call around to slavage parts places, I was looking for body parts for mine and then didn't have anything but I had a few times where guy offered ordering aftermarket parts that were way less than anything that I found online, in mags.....

I'd say go for it. I too love the look of the SS's. I think the place where you found the spoiler for $250 or something is a good deal.

Don't know if you've already checked this place out.

Yeah man, I say go for it. Just don't be surprised when some other small block out there wants a piece of you at a stop light.
