i have a 3.8 camaro and im gonna put an SS hood and SS spoiler on it. The thing is I dont want it to be an SS but i love the look of the hood and spoiler. and i aint interested in putting SS badges because thats just dumb. but is this idea just plain stupid because it will look like what its not or is it not that big of a deal?

I don't believe it is but I don't have an ss, I got my camaro and it already had the ss hood on it. I think it just looks so much better. I totaly think its onlly wrong if you go the whole badges route.

Why worry about what others think? It's your car, do what you want with it. I don't think I've ever asked people what they thought I should do with my car. If I did then it might end up looking like everyone elses. I apologize for the brief rant.

As 02StangGT says, it is your car so do what you want. Personally I think the "line" you cross is with the badges: IfI wanted the look I'd put the hood, spoiler, etc., on it, maybe the wheels too if you like their look, but I'd leave off the badges or use RS instead of SS badges.

yeha i guess i kinda was worrying about what other people think. thanks for the opinions. btw i defninately wasnt gonna put SS badges on. there are guys around here that do that and they get made fun of sooooo much. im just gonna do hood and spoiler not the wheels idk what wheels i want yet, prolly Z06's.
