Default Light help!

Hey everyone. I've seen many 4th gens on here with the aftermarket halo lights by Pilot(nv-538w)... There is a write up on here as to how to wire and mount them...
https://camaroforums.com/forum/showt...ght=angel+eyes

My question to you guys who have done this modification, What is the difference between the Pilot NV-538W and the Pilot PL-1093W other than the PL-1093W has a strobe light? The reason I'm asking this is because, everywhere I've looked, the PL-1093W costs less but has more features. If someone could check out these links and help me out that would be great! I'm leaning towards the PL-1093W's because they have the strobe light. However I'm not sure if they will light up the road as good as the NV-538W's. Input is greatly appreciated!

Its the first one that I used. I think the 1093 are a bit too big to fit in the stock headlight area.

The nv one used in the write up is the right size. I mean it nearly clears the hood. It's also smaller in size then the one with the strobe light. The one with the strobe light is 3.5 inch. The nv one is 3 & 3/8 inch which is smaller in size compared to the one with the strobe.

Do you know if Pilot Automotive offers a smaller version of the PL-1093W? I think it would be awesome to not only have the blue ring but also have the strobe light option...

I don't think pilot would custom make it for u. It's worth a shot for u to ask. Them though. If u like the strobe idea, I'm sure u could find some type of wiring harness that can turn your headlights into strobes. I am going to try to turn mine into HID headlights when I get some extra cash. I'm customizeing them myself. As for strobes, I don't have the need for them myself.

Happy modding.

Yeah that is true. lol. Well I mean the 1093 is on 1/8inch bigger... Is the 538 really that tight of a fit in there?

Yeah. The hood almost makes contact with the halo ring. I'll post close up shots later.
