There is not much of a benifit on the V6 engine to put true duals on the car. There really is not any room for 2 mufflers. If you have a performance engine like Musicman does then 3 - 3.5" pipes would be good. Stock you would just be throwing away money.

it is not a torque monster but it spools up fast which makes low traction situations alot of fun :P I dont know that I like the sound of the 3.8 on duals. I have heard that on a few jeeps that were upgraded from the odd fire 231 to the newer even fire engine (which has the same firing order as our engine and same displacement) and they just didnt sound all that good. I am not a fan of raspy V6 either, that is too rice for me. Single 3" with Magnaflow from what I have been told sounds the best with a stock 3.8. My local exhaust shop will set me up with that for about $500 cat back and dual tips.

I have heard true duels on 4th gen 3.8 and they do sound good. For me it would not me worth it, If someelse is making it for you expect atleast 1K. Unless you have built your motor in a big way you will not feel any more power it would strickly be for sound.
Don't forget other things effect the sound, condition of your Cat and if you have headers. I get a lot of compliment on how my Camaro sounds with Cat delete, headers and a Flowmaster cat back system but if I replace my system it will be with the Magnaflow system. Based on You tube videos I think it sounds better. My car sounds great under 3000 RPMs but it get real ricey over 3K.
