Wouldn't an 8 valve engine be a four cyl? 4 intake plus 4 exhaust... I know there are some engines that have 2 of each for every cylinder (making a 4 cyl a 16 valve, or a 6 cyl a 24 valve)... My wife's Saturn has an 8v engine. There's definitely nothing "boosted" about that, LOL.
