Default Lambo Doors?

Anybody know if the Lambo doors are a decent install on a 94 Camaro? Is it worth it?

you have to cut the piece of the fender off that lines up with the mirror... imagine your car without that and youll see that lambo doors look stupid

That and lambo doors tend to cause other issues, one thats common is pulling/ripping the door wiring harness out due to poor install. And from the many lambo door mods I've seen, every single one is a botched job. The car isn't made for it, and it looks horrible. Put that money into performance or something.

EDIT: Also, opening lambo doors in a PITA. Especially if they are non hydraulic or however them things work. I worked on a 300c (Lambo doors on a 4 door, I know, retarded) and those things we're hard as hell to open. If you need to get out in a hurry, your better off climbing out the window.

Actually, a member here has done the Lambo door conversion, albeit what sounded like a semi-hack job by his description.
Warning #1: The flaming starts to get brutal a short while into the thread. Don't look or read if you have a weak stomach.
Warning #2: Please DO NOT revive that thread. Some members requested the thing get killed, but it still remains for helpful educational purposes. Much the same as "don't stick your head in the fan blade when the engine is running"! lol

I didn't say anything about that thread because I didn't want anyone to bring it back either.

Not trying to bash on anyone with lambo doors but I find them to be ricey I don't like some things on my car. To dress it up with a nice hood or maybe a stripe okay but things like that i dont like. but if you want it and like em go for it. They cost some money though. You could use the money for some mods for your camaro instead if your a fan of speed.

Half that is SSV6 and Detroit going back and forth.

Anyways, lesson being: Don't chop your **** for the sake of being cool... and don't flame, just hold it in and take it out on the cat or something.
