i was in a hurry so no chance to mess with it. just got it towed. its just turned over and over. i did however check the color of the oil(normal) and tried to listen for the fuel pump. it was noisy around me but i didn't hear it. so before i go through with changing it what steps should i do. fuses? fuel filter.

 

fuses and check if you have fuel pressure instead of going into the big project of doing a fuel pump

 

should be a wire with a plugin on it, its to manually turn on the pump for testing. the pump should come on if u run 12 volts to it. see if it does. if not check for juice at the pump harness back at the rearend. if your getting power there and the pump is not coming on the pump is not working.
