The car is a blast to drive. Very responsive and tight. I've randomly left my desk a few times just to take it for a ride.

cool i would too,i have never seen seats like that an know tear ,95% of the driver seats get a tear leather or not thos are both leather an cloth , i am a big person ,so i think with me i made the one in the 95 in like 10.000 miles cloth the 99 3800 leather already had a tear very fixable ,sometimes i kinda wish ,i had gone with rebuild of my 95 ,instead of back to oldshcool ,but i still love the power over a stock lt1 ,an for me theres nothing compares to the looks of oldshcool engines ,though thse lt1 engines or ls1s there are chrome kits that can improve looks ,the new ones are nothing but plastic ,but with the right extras ,can be improved up on ,i know some guys only care how they run,for me it all how it runs looks an drives ,my plan is to make my 95 a show car ,slash driver ,dont expect to win many ribbons ,just give it a diffrent look of a 98 ss with ground effects, then go with big tires to an more of pro street look ,looks like you did real well

Thanks for the compliments guys. I got her home now in the garage. For the money...I don't think I've ever owned such a fun toy.

I posted a new thread that I haven't gotten much action on...what are your recommendations for performance brakes?

i seen a 94 dont know it it is 1 le ,it has the scoop down near the front ,an had one long hole instead of 2,its hard top 6 speed manual ,100.000 the guy say 2800.00 , needs a hood ,there was this guy looking for one but a 98 - 02 hard top 6 speed ,my thoughts about the car just looking at it is that was not taken care of ,how does a hood get all messed up without there being more things going on brakes thicker pads summit moog is pricey they sell kits for the from like $250.00 painted calipers sloted roters an pads on ebay

Default gotta pay to play

Came outside to a puddle of dark fluid on my garage floor...coming from underneath the car...driver door area. Brake fluid! Good thing my ride to work ends with me parking at a Chevy Dealer. My guess is rusted brake line maybe.

I did get that harsh butterflies feeling for a second though...thought it was oil!

yes thats true i lost my lt1 from over revs an burnouts , seals ,my 95 has no rust the 99 has few lines looking rusty ,after the undercoating i sprayed all the brake lines with chain wax ,left from my bike rideing days ,it works as a great lube that stays

Question New brake line.

She's back! New brake line installed.

With winter coming up, what do you guys use for your battery tender(s)?

I confiscate one of the ones we have at work for my car. For the old mans car we just stick it in the house for the winter.

people say store them in warm weather like basement ,but all i do it unhook positive cable an in 8 years same battery ,starts right up every year ,never had to charge it much until my swap ,to make sure it was chargeing right,i think the worst one can do ,is keep it hooked up couse they will have dead battery more time then none ,i have not had a battery last less then 9 10 years an a bit more with a few in 15 years or more ,an never used a tender but i have one guess it just a personal choice save electric bill winter ,the car was stored in a huge barn ,now my metal garage not heat ,just away from emliments ,other then cold, now the 99 red one will go in that same barn ,as i dont have room for 2 cars in my garage had to leave room for a bench ,
