The radio in my 98 convertible goes out intermittently. This usually occurs after hitting a bump. I can go days without a problem. Other days it quits every 30 seconds. When this happens, the power windows and power top also quit.The windows, radio and top are on different fuses. Could this be a short in the radio?

The BCM (Body Control Module) controls all the stuff that is losing power. Check the BCM and all the wires and connector attached to it, most likely loose and reacting to the bumps.
