Default Interior fan issue

The interior fan quit working on the highest setting. I know there is a separate relay or switch or fuse (not sure which one it is) for it, it still works on all the other 3 settings. What is it called? Where is it under the dash? And how do you get to it, does anyone have a how to? 94 v6

this is the 3rd time in a year and a half this relay has died. does this suggest something else is causing it to crap out, or has the shop I took it to used a crappy relay?

how is the fan working, any funny noises or poor performance? could be the blower resistor. found this on a search

It is on the passenger side, you have to remove the black plastic kick plate, below the glove box, to expose it (held in place with 2 latches and 1 push pin). The resistor is in front of the blower motor ( sandwiched between the motor housing and the firewall) it is tricky to get to,

if mine has the extra speed for the blower then its not working so i will be looking at both the relay and resistor.
