Default Interior Lighting Issue

I recently bought a 98 camaro as a project, I'm now in the final stages of this project and trying to work out my last bug. The interior lights will stay on for about 10 minutes after the door is shut. Is there a way to shorten this time or is there something broke that i will need to replace?

check your hatch latch im not 100% sure but my dads 99 buick (still a GM car) had a battery saving system that killed all the power after 10 min that kinda sounds like what your car is doing
