From the factory 4. Now 6 cuz I put 2 subs. So the base model cassette radio had an amp to power the door speakers?

So what im getting is that no matter what radio you have there is an amp seperate from the factory radio thats powering the door radio?
And since i replaced the factory radio there is still an amp in my car that came from the factory?

if u dont have the bose or monsoon u dont have the amps. i think the issue is do u have the sw outlets on the stereo and are u going to use them with proper wires going to the amp or are u going to run directly from your stereo speaker outlets to the amp. do a seach on crutchfield and see if they have your stereo and amps u want to use, if so then see what is needed to hook them up.
