oh well, busted sunshell on a recently rebuilt tranny.

no reverse, no 2nd or OD

out comes the tranny and this time, "the beast" sunshell is going in.

busted the trans did ya man, to hard on er. no 2nd and no reverse. that aint good have to put a new one in er. you dont like OEM parts? :0

 

it's a common falure on the 700r's and 4L60's

it has to come out and be torn down. A $50 part vs using an OEM $18 one would have saved me the headache. arrggghhhhhhh

 

u going to upgrade the servo s too.

 

I might put in the vette ones as they are better than stock. You can go crazy beefing it up. I have no plans beyond the current 1.6 rr's, longtubes/ORY, cai and tune. I just want to get it back on the road.

I'm eyeballing a possible project vehicle that will get "the treatment"
