Nice choice in equiment.

That's the trunk? Looks tiny. I didn't think it was that small.

I know someone who had 2 15" in their Camaro, but I don't know how they did it.

Buff, you were correct. The 30th Anniversary Edition model was a Z28 or SS availability only. All 97's had "30th Anniversary" on the seats though. But the 30th Anniversary model was a white car with orange stripes. Seats were white leather, or white leather trim with black and white houndstooth cloth inserts.

And the special embroidery on the headrest isn't something you would miss: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...d=250755121664

Then you'd want to do some more digging. Either someone replaced/reupholstered the plain seats with those houndstooth seats, or the car really is a 30th Anniv. model that's been repainted.

Hmm. Well, I should have been more specific earlier about the "scuffs." Now that you said repaint, it did look like the passenger side had some "faded" spots like it had been repainted. Is there any emblems on the car that tells you it's a 30th Anniversary? Is there a 30 emblem on the side panels? Cause I think I saw those when he pointed it out after showing me the interior. Anything under the hood?

I'd hate to get the car and find out it's not a "real" 30th Anniversary and someone just got those seats to pretend or get it for looks.

Well I've read thru all 5 pages of "speculation" about what it "might" be. Shouldn't we all wait till he goes and looks again and finds out exactly what it really is? Or is all this guessing what makes it so much fun?...lol

Well There are afew things here that I see. Not all 97s have the 30th logo on the seats. I have looked at alot of them. The annaversary package was available on all models and only had the embossed seats on the non special edition cars. The Special Annaversary package came only in SS trim with White body, Hugger Orange stripes and white leather with cloth hound's tooth interior.

The embossed seats were pretty common, but not a 100% option like the 02's and the dash plaque.

Here is my Cousin's 97 Special Edition Annaversary SS

And you asked about the aftermarket head unit... Well I put a Kenwood in my car. The install was easy and didnt take very long.
