I have a 94 with a LT1. Its acting up.
It will run fine for 10 miles and then is acts up.
It doesnt want to go past 20 MPH. At redlights it feels like its going to fall apart from all the jumping. It coughs alot also.
Ill let it sit for 5 hours and it will run fine again for 10 or so miles.
Anythoughts on what it could be?

Someone told me the optispark, those cost alot to put in right?

 

fuel filter, fuel pump, opti, coil, plugs, plugwires. sure ive missed a couple. any ses light? have u scaned for saved trouble codes?

 

First guess I would say a coil, just because of the 10 mile thing, becaues your engine will finally be up to temp. But like craby asked is it throwing any codes, why guess in the dark, when that would sum the problem up for you. Just stick to the basics; spark, fuel, air, and compression
