I know I know another question about intakes??
I am fairly new and recently purchased an slp air filter cover and was wondering if you guys know of someone who makes an intake pipe that fits from the round slp filter side connecting to the throttle body. As i'm sure you know it's not a straight pipe which in my opinion is retarded. It's kinfda of off to the side a bit. I could probably "rig" something up but I'd like it to look as clean/stock as possible. Thanks for any and all help.
Don't know how your going to make it line up and still keep the good air flow. I'd return the SLP lid, if you can, and see if you can track down the Whisper Motorsports lid. That one is designed for the 3800 and will fit nicely...IF YOU CAN FIND ONE.
Good luck

Good luck
Really, did not know that. Hmmmmmmm. Well I only paid 40 bucks shipped for the lid so I am ahead of the game. Was wondering if there was maybe a hard plastic tubing or piping that could be slowly heated up and tweaked so it fits somewhat?? Come on you guys gotta give me something. Thanks
$40? That's a great price. You get that from Ebay? I'd say sell it again, you'll make your money back easy.
If there was a good way to fabricate something that would make that box lid work on the 3.8, someone on here would have done it by now, and started a thread for it because most people can't find the Whisper lid anymore. Supposedly, the carbon fiber version is still available, but it costs more than the regular one....again, if you can find it
