how to rebuild a camaro
hi my name is seth. I have had a 96 camaro rs for about a year and i love it, however i am having some problems because its old and the previous owners did not take car of her. I want to basically replace every part in my car but i want to upgrade it at the same time and turn it into a z28. My first question is can i do that piece by piece or do i have to do it all at once? My second question is if i can do it piece by piece what order should i do it in? My third question is how much would it cost approximately overall? My last question is i need a list of parts in both models so i can figure out what parts i need to replace can some one either send me a link or tell me what i need?

You can't just change the engines in these cars without changing basically the entire front end with it, not to mention all the wiring and control modules plus you would want to change the rear end as well. Search the forum, this question has been cussed and discussed a 1000 times. I believe the most common conclusion would be that it is cheaper to just buy a Z28

Yea , that cause its not a Z28. 93-97 Z28s LT1 350s 98-02 LS1 both V8s
If you go to the V6 forum and the is sticky there V6-V8 read it you'll get the idea.
