i was wondering how much of a gain will i notice if i purchase a slp air lid for my '99 z28 its basically stock right know because i couldn't afford to modify it yet. after buying gears i have 100 bucks left over and was wondering if its worth it? thanks

 

buying anintake is always a good idea youll gain a few horses but i doubt you will notice much on intake alone.

 

well i knew that about intakes in general but i thought that the slp air lids helped out a little bit more on LS1's. and i was just trying to find out if this was true

 

search for other threads about it, its quite common for LS1s around here i see.

 

I know that it will help,, not a throw u back in ur seat feeling but if ur going to do any other mods u WILL need it later so u might as well get it now if u have the money..
