How much does it cost, and what else do i need to make my 2001 SS go fast with these mods...?
Ok somy stock AUTO2001 SS is pretty fast, but i'm bored with it.
What Head/Cam/Intake setup is the best? How much does it cost? How much to install? What all do I need?
Would it be better to have the engine just bored out to a 383 stroker?
What Header, Mid-Pipe, Cat-Back is the best? How much? How much to install?
If I did all this, what would be the total price?
I was looking at this... is this a good price? http://www.lmperformance.com/5910/1.html
I'm a Mustang guy turned Chevy... So I need some help here...
Let me know.

I have a 2000 WS6 and just put on pace setter long tube headers and different y-pipe with no cats, k&n intake and a custom tune for about 1200 bucks and it really woke it up, i was impressed, these are things that you will want to do if you do engine work anyway so that is what i did to start and hopefully a cam and maybe heads in the spring. They told me that if you dont want to spend the big money to just put in a cam because the heads already flow pretty good. Start with this and you will be happy for a while, i was getting boered with it after five years of ownership and now it is a blast to drive again.
You don't want to start with internals, you need to make sure the engine can breathe and get exhaust out so you can utilize any internal upgrades. Start with bolt ons, lid, cat back, headers, Y pipe, then you can start thinking about head/cam packages.

With the o/r Y & no cats, does this trip your check engine light? or does the tune take care of that?
