thanks i knew that much ,we were just pretty much talking about the power the lsx engines an what beasts they can be ,an the trucks engines suvs seem to be the ones to get the engines from if one want to do a swap ,its just so easy to forget ,that some car changed over the year from rear wheel to front

 

One thing I have notice is if you are looking for a cheap complete 6.0 drive line it is hard to beat a 2004-up 3500 Work Van. Some of them are pretty beat up and and I have seen them sell for around 1.5-2K. That should get you everything you need and $250 in scrap.

That is a complete 300 hp Drive line with tons of potential for about what a stainless exhaust costs. I have a 1997 C 2500 with a blown head gasket, I am so tempted.
