Hope that helps. KBB is a good place to get a round about of private party value. If its in good conditionand with that kind of millagei would say no more than6000 at the most.

In good shape with average mileage (88000) for that year and with all the bells and wisles I would say 7000-8500. But this is high mileage for the year 133,000 on a 97. Yes the SS can run every bit of 200,000 if its well taken care of. But even in excellent condition I still wouldn’t pay 10 grand for it. Hell for just a little bit more you can go out and find a 2000 SS with Half the mileage. I paid just over 11K for my 2000 TA in fair condition with 81,000 miles. It was pretty clean and came with new tires, battery, belt, brakes, and a basic GM tune up and I have never had a problem with the car after 12,000 miles on her and a few track passes I haven’t had one issue.
