How hard is the LS1-LS6 Intake Swap??
I have a 1998 Camaro SS .......I am thinking about buying a LS6 intake manifold.
I do some of my own mechanic work....oil changes, transmission fluid and filter changes, spark plugs, I have a jeep that I put a body lift and suspension lift kit in.
I just wondered how hard it is to change out the intakes, It does not look real tuff except it looks like you be workimg in some pretty tight places.
For those of you that have changed them ....did you have any problems?
On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the hardest) how would you rate the job?

Its not very hard at all. If you do a google search there are steep by steep instructions but the only part that might take a little brain power is the torque spec and torque sequence when you bolt it back down but if you take your time then its not very hard at all.

ls1 how to have a good guuide but watch out
they dont mention the OIL PRESSURE SENSOR, I didn't realize the brake booster hose just snags on the top and as I slid the intake out, you guessed it, it snapped. Take your time and be patient and although it is a tight squeeze it is pretty simple. Expect cuts and bad language though
