I made a post earlier about not being able to shift into reverse, it turns out I cant shift into any gear while its running so I guess I need to bleed the system. I cant reply in the old thread for some reason so I made a new one. Can anyone tell m or link me a guide on doing this? I found one short run through on it and the guy mentions "cracking" the metal line on the slave to allow bleeding but I have no idea what hes talking about. I dont want to just go out there and start bending my lines without knowing what Im doing.

 

The term "cracking the line open" doesn't mean to go and bend the line till it breaks. [:@]
What that means is to loosen the fitting to allow air to escape. If you don't have a bleeder valve at the end of a hydraulic line, "cracking it open" at the fitting is the only other way to bleed air out.
Oh, and by the way, that is a term that is used regularly by plumbers.
It also has nothing to do with whether or not their own crack is showing.

 

Alright thanks lol, there is a little pin holding the line on i guess i have to figure out how to get that out and even worse back in after its done.

 

dude, reverse locks out when its off, its fine you dont have to break anything.
