How to Bleed AIR STRANDED OUT OF STATE HELP!!!!
I HAVE A 94 3.4 v6 CAMARO NO COOLANT IS GOING INTO THE BLOCK!!!! From cold start up it goes to red temp in like 4 min. The Upper and lower radiator hoses stay cold. I changed water pump yesterday and its still overheating and thermostat was changed about a week ago. How do i bleed the air from the coolant on A 3.4 v6, i have the chilton, and no luck on the info someone help, im stranded at a hotel in wyoming and need to get back to CALIFORNIA

have u tried running it with the rad cap off, not sure on the v6 but the 8's have a bleeder vale on the top, what part off wy r u at if ur off 80 i might b able to help in person as i am going to reno and i can do more to help in person then the comp.

Check that the t'stat is not installed backward, as the water pressure will keep it from opening. Also make sure the water pump is pumping in the proper direction. Pumps for serpentine belts and v belts look the same but are made to work in the opposite direction.
There are no bleeder valves on the V6.
Fill the radiator up to the bottom of the filler neck. Fill the reservoir to the FULL COLD mark. Run engine with the radiator cap off. When the t'stat opens the level in the radiator will drop. Stop engine & add coolant directly to radiator. Repeat several time until level in radiator remains constant. Put radiator cap back on & you are ready to go. Of course, if you have other problems such as a blown gasket, or plugged radiator, the engine will continue to overheat.
