Default Hot Switches

I am still learning new things about my camaro. Today...I learned that it had fog lights and that there was a little switch to turn them on and off (kewl). Anyway i turned them on and drove to the train station that is about 2.4 miles away. When I turned them off i noticed that the switch was really hot. Is that normal? Or is it some signe of a short?

Mine does the same and so does one of my friends. I am assuming it is normal (however if I drive on the highway or what not it goes away... which makes me think it might just be a circulation issue or some weird stuff. Either way it is fine I am sure.

I also have long tube headers we well and originally thought this might have caused my "issue" as well. At least I know this is not the problem (my friend has LTs as well.)

yeah, my switches get pretty warm. I think it might be something with the light inside, or maybe a circulation thing.. who knows.
