Default horn doesn't work

I noticed the other day that my horn isnt working. I havent looked into it any deeper than checking the fuse yet (which was not blown). Other than a bad horn itself what else can cause this?

you will prolly get better results with this thread in the general section.

The horn circuit on these cars is pretty simple. There is a contact behind the airbag, a small wire from the steering wheel to the horn ring (plastic parts of the horn ring break easily). The horn ring has contacts on the turn signal switch that are fed to the plug for the T/S and that goes to either a horn or a relay then a horn depending on the year of your car.

And off to the general section we go........
Start at the horn and work your way back. Hook either a test light or meter to the power terminal at the horn, and see if you get any activity when you try to toot your own horn.

On the passenger side, bolted to the frame behind the headlights and running lights. Easy to access if you take the headlight assembly out. While you're in there, put a better sounding one in, that stock horn sounds awful!!! That's one thing on my list.
