Hood not lined up.. how to fix?
do you know if it has been wrecked?
i'm not certain about this, but let's take this for an example. what if someone put the top from a 98 and up camaro on a 97 or below? are there any differences in size that would make it noticeable, such as this guy's car? of course, it could be a windshield from a 98 and up as well.
that was just speculation. i honestly have no clue why it's like that, and you'll probably have to let a professional look at it. never seen anything like that.

It's not the hood, it's the roof you're looking at.
And I think your car has the wrong windshield on it. I don't have a 4th gen Camaro handy at the moment to compare, but that wide rubber seal around the windshield looks all wrong. From what I recall, your car should have only the narrow rubber strip that you also have along the roof and side windows.
I'm wondering if someone may have slapped on a 3rd gen windshield? The third gen cars had a metal (body color) pillar between the windshield and side glass, the 4th gen doesn't. If total pillar-to-pillar width dimensions are the same, or close between both gen's, that would make the 3rd gen windshield noticeably narrower than the 4th.

I'm with Camaro 69... You have the wrong windshield.... The rubber strip is way too wide. My car is a 99 but I think you get the idea Camaro 69 is talking about...

Look carefully at the top corner and side. There is only a thin rubber piece (like Camaro 69) said and I'm pretty sure all 4th gen Camaros were like that
