oooook. so finally back. I ended up getting rid of the high pitched whine and squealing. I changed the power steering pulley. Installed a new belt and alternator. I had removed the dampner and changed all the seals on the front (waterpump, opti seal and hub seal). That's all fixed now I have an issue with the car chattering when reversing and going into drive. There is also a burning smell when running (assuming its the belt) any ideas? Maybe harmonic balancer loose?

 

totally forgot to update..i put everything back together. I bought a gator belt and slapped her on. The culprit for the high pitched whine was the air pump.
