the pull switch doesn't click anymore when you pull it to switch to hi/low. been looking on ebay for one, but all I see is the lever, which looks like whatever the internal end goes into is what does the clicking?

or is the lever all I need? never had to replace one of these before.

 

From a little bit of reading, it sounds like you have to replace a switch in/on the steering column.
